I am the Pastor of Waldo Baptist Church in Metropolis, IL . I am a graduate of Boyce College and The Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. I love to read, drink coffee, and watch sports. My wife Kelsey is a Speech Language Pathologist and operates her own private practice, Playful Communication. We are blessed with four children: Isaac, Rae, Luke, and Millie Careece.

I am interested in pastoral ministry, preaching, hermeneutics, theological interpretation, and Baptist theology.
